Project Description

We partnered with Simple Solar to design a high-impact, conversion-focused website that simplifies the solar adoption journey for homeowners. The goal was to transform a traditionally complex and technical industry into a clear, transparent, and confidence-driven digital experience.

The website was designed to communicate affordability, trust, and ease from the very first interaction. By combining strong value propositions with instant pricing clarity, the platform positions Simple Solar as a customer-first solar provider while encouraging users to take action through instant quote requests.

Problems

The solar market is crowded with platforms that overwhelm users with technical jargon, unclear pricing, and long decision cycles. Simple Solar needed a website that could cut through this noise while building immediate trust with first-time solar buyers.

Potential customers often struggled to understand the difference between ownership and lease options, hesitated due to hidden cost concerns, and lacked the confidence to move forward without transparent information. These gaps resulted in lost leads and lower conversion rates.

The Challenges

The core challenge was designing an experience that educates without overwhelming and persuades without overselling. Solar energy involves financial, technical, and long-term decisions, which required the website to feel both informative and reassuring.

We needed to simplify complex pricing models, establish credibility quickly, and guide users seamlessly from awareness to action. At the same time, the interface had to feel modern, eco-friendly, and affordable, while keeping conversion paths clear and accessible across the entire journey.

Solutions

We crafted a user-centric experience focused on clarity, transparency, and conversion. The website structure was designed to progressively educate users while continuously reinforcing Simple Solar’s value proposition. Pricing was presented in a straightforward comparison format to eliminate confusion and reduce hesitation.

Clear messaging, strong visual hierarchy, and well-placed calls to action ensure users always know what to do next. Trust signals such as warranties, cost savings, and customer testimonials were integrated throughout the experience to build confidence and remove friction at key decision points.

Style Guide

The visual identity was designed to communicate sustainability, reliability, and simplicity. A green-led color palette reinforces eco-conscious values, while energetic orange accents guide attention toward key actions and conversions. Neutral backgrounds ensure readability and keep the experience clean and approachable.

Typography was selected to balance clarity and personality, with bold headlines establishing hierarchy and easy-to-read body text supporting educational content. The overall design language relies on soft shadows, rounded components, and friendly illustrations to humanize the solar technology and make the experience feel welcoming rather than technical.

Core Features

The platform includes instant quote pathways that reduce friction and encourage fast decision-making. A transparent pricing comparison clearly explains ownership and lease-to-own options, helping users understand their financial choices with confidence.

A step-by-step “How It Works” section guides users through the process from consultation to installation, while testimonials and FAQs address common concerns and objections. Every section of the site is optimized to support trust, clarity, and conversion without overwhelming the user.

Working with Apex Soft Technologies was a seamless experience. The team quickly understood our goals and delivered a clear, modern, and conversion-focused website that communicates trust and transparency. Communication was excellent, timelines were met, and the final outcome exceeded our expectations. We’d gladly work with them again.
